Egyptian Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Essmat conferred on Tuesday with Italian Ambassador in Cairo Michele Quaroni and his accompanying delegation on means of boosting joint co-operation.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Public Business Sector said Essmat asserted the depth and strength of ties binding Egypt and Italy and their keenness on developing and enhancing all fields of joint co-operation in the coming phase.
Meanwhile, the Italian ambassador congratulated the newly-appointed minister on assuming the duties and wished him success in his mission.
The two sides also addressed means of bolstering co-operation in the economic and trade fields and reviewing a number of available investment opportunities in the public enterprises sector.
