Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa said the ministry is the bedrock of military industry in the state.
The ministry contributes to pushing forward the wheel of development and production and coping with up-to-date technology in various industrial domains, he said.
The minister made the remarks while chairing the general assemblies of companies affiliated to the Military Production Ministry.
The minister directed heads of the companies and units affiliated to the ministry to work on the optimal use of human, materialistic and technological energy resources.
The companies and units achieved a total revenues of EGP 30.5 billion in 2022/2023 against EGP 26.7 billion in 2021/2022.
The minister also directed to continue investment in human element and commitment to the timetables of projects to maximize returns and increase the contribution to the national economy, Defense Ministry Spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr said.
He called to further depending on research and innovation.
