Egyptian State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salah eddin Mostafa said the ministry is interested in promoting industry and introduction of state-of-the-art technologies to its factories to expand in military and civil products manufactory.
The ministry is seeking to raise quality of its products and boost their competition edge in global markets in accordance with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to localize and strengthen advanced technologies’ usage, added Mostafa.
Mostafa’s remarks came at a meeting with Head of the Turkish Defense Industry Agency Haluk Gorgun in the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) Wednesday.
The meeting discussed ways of promoting joint cooperation between the two sides.
The minister said the meeting probed the possibility of tapping new vistas for joint cooperation between the two sides in a number of military manufacturing fields.
Gorgun said the Turkish side is looking forward to cooperating with military production companies, which are considered among the most important industrial entities in the country and is making strategic partnerships with various world companies.
