Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa toured on Monday Helwan Company for Metallic Appliances (Military Factory 360), one of the industrial edifices in Egypt.
During the tour, the minister said the company, which produces metallic appliances, takes part in Egypt’s national mega projects and presidential initiatives such as “Decent Life”
He pointed out that the company took part in the construction of alternative housing in many parts of the country including the Asmarat housing project, in addition to its participation in the development of Zohr gas field to achieve development across the country.
The company produces gas cookers with 100 per cent local components, and aims to apply the same policies on the rest of its products in co-operation with other military production factories and private companies in order to stop importing any production inputs from abroad to ease the pressure on foreign currency.
