The Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Suleiman Gomblat, has called for accelerated project implementation and the optimal use of resources across the ministry’s affiliated companies and units.

Mr Gomblat gave the directive during an expanded meeting held at the ministry’s training sector headquarters in El Salam City. The session brought together heads of affiliated entities and sector chiefs to review performance indicators, assess production and marketing plans, and evaluate ongoing projects.

Regular monitoring ensures work plans meet established timelines while achieving maximum efficiency and productivity, the minister noted. He stressed that any obstacles slowing down implementation rates must be addressed immediately. Practical solutions are vital to ensure continuous progress and the achievement of planned objectives.

During the meeting, company and unit heads delivered detailed presentations on production rates, marketing plans, and the utilization of manufacturing capacities. They also outlined measures taken to improve operational efficiency and highlighted the main challenges facing certain projects. Mr Gomblat directed that swift measures be taken to resolve these issues, backed by continuous monitoring.

The minister emphasized the importance of maximizing the technical and human resources available within the ministry’s network. The current phase demands greater coordination, cooperation, and integration among all entities. Such collaboration is essential to strengthen product competitiveness, meet domestic needs, and expand into export markets. This approach directly aligns with Egypt’s broader strategy to localize advanced manufacturing technologies and deepen local industrial production.

Human capital remains central to this vision. In line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to invest in people as a key pillar of the modern state, Mr Gomblat affirmed that developing the human resources system is central to the ministry’s institutional strategy. Human resources are the ultimate cornerstone of sustainable development and workplace efficiency. Excellence and competence, he concluded, will serve as the primary criteria for assuming leadership positions, reflecting the true human face of sacrifice and dedication driving the nation forward.
