Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Suleiman Gomblatt, has held a meeting with the heads of boards of directors of the ministry’s affiliated companies and units to review their financial and technical performance between July 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026.

The meeting was convened at the ministry’s headquarters in the Training Sector in Al-Salam City.

During the meeting, Minister Gomblatt stressed the importance of strengthening co-ordination among the various sectors of affiliated companies and units, providing full support to technical workers on production lines, and expanding the use of artificial intelligence applications in control and security systems.

These measures would help increase production, overcome operational challenges and improve overall efficiency, he said.

The minister also called for a more active role for specialised committees in supporting production processes and enhancing performance.

He noted that modern management strategies are based on three key pillars: developing human capital through continuous training and equipping employees with digital and technical skills; boosting technological capabilities through investment in digital infrastructure and data systems; and accelerating industrial transformation by modernising production processes and adopting advanced technologies.

Gomblatt directed officials to remove any obstacles facing employees to ensure the smooth implementation of production plans and highlighted the importance of operating effective shift systems to provide a suitable working environment.

He also stressed the need to strengthen governance across affiliated companies and units to improve performance, monitor technical and financial operations, and assess performance indicators to ensure targets are met.

The minister concluded by emphasising the importance of making efficient use of time and resources to raise productivity and reinforce the role of military production in supporting national development plans and meeting the state’s needs.
