The Egyptian Military Academy hosted a ceremony marking the completion of an integration and familiarization course for students of the Police Academy.
The course came in line with directives from the political leadership to consolidate joint training programs between military cadets and students from Egyptian universities and academies.
The event opened with a presentation of the cadets’ training outcomes, followed by a documentary outlining the preparation and implementation phases of the course.
The program included physical fitness drills, marching exercises, self-defense training, and simulated live-fire exercises, alongside lectures on psychological operations, information warfare, and fourth-generation warfare. Participants also took part in a range of sports competitions, including football, handball, 100-meter races, squash, and table tennis.
In his remarks, Egyptian Military Academy Director, Major General Mohamed Salah El-Torky, said the academy is committed to fostering continuous engagement between the Armed Forces and the police, particularly given their growing responsibilities as the “shield and sword” safeguarding Egypt’s security and stability.
Police Academy students, in turn, expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that it strengthens bonds with their military counterparts and reinforces values of loyalty and national belonging.
The ceremony concluded with the honouring of top-performing participants.
