Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has expressed profound appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his balanced and judicious leadership in the Mediterranean region, North Africa and the Middle East, Egypt’s Ambassador to Rome, Bassam Radi, said in statements on Monday.
The statements followed a meeting between the Italian prime minister and her Egyptian counterpart Dr Mostafa Madbouli on the sidelines of the Development and Migration Conference in Rome on Monday.
During the meeting, the Italian prime emphasised that her country is looking forward to the development bilateral relations in all fields, Ambassador Radi said.
For his part, PM Madbouli stressed that many promising opportunities exist for fruitful co-operation between the two countries, Ambassador Radi said
During the meeting, the two sides agreed that Ambassador Radi would provide Prime Minister Meloni with all the details of the projects proposed to be established between Egypt and Italy in the coming period, especially including industrial and investment ventures.
The step, Ambassador Radi added aims to ensure the highest level consideration and meticulous study of the projects, in addition to coordinating the projects that could be started and setting the implementation stages.
