Egypt’s tennis star Mayar Sherif advanced 25 positions in the list of the best 50 female tennis players around the world, taking the 49th place with 1,040 points, according to the Women’s Tennis WTA Rankings on Monday.
Sherif’s success came after defeating Greece’s Maria Sakkari to win the Parma Ladies Open on Sunday.
The best ranking for Sherif in the list was the 45th place, achieved in July.
