Marsa Matruh International Airport received on Thursday the first charter flight from the Czech Republic.
The flight marked the start of the 2025 summer tourist season.
In a statement, Matrouh Governor Khaled Shoaib said girls representing “Rehana” initiative participated in receiving the tourists in the governorate.
“Rehana” initiative aims to raise girls’ awareness and activate their role in society.
Marsa Matruh is famous for its serene beaches, limpid clear sea and white sands.
