CAIRO- Egyptian State Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram commended the significant role played by Egyptologist Wassim El Sisi in introducing Egypt’s ancient civilisation.
The remarks were made by the minister during her meeting with the renowned Egyptologist, as part of his participation in the presidential initiative “Itkalem Arabi” or “Speak Arabic” that aims at preserving the Egyptian identity and connecting Egyptians abroad to their mother tongue and homeland.
The participation of Wassim El Sisi, who is an avid Egyptologist, in the initiative adds a big value to its objectives, said the minister.
The minister, meanwhile, extended thanks to Wassim El Sisi for his tireless efforts over the past period.
El Sisi, on his part, voiced gratitude over participating in such initiative and asserted that Egyptians abroad are in dire need of knowing about their civilization and their glorious history.
