The Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies Summit kicked off at the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology on Saturday.
A large number of scientists and specialised experts from Japanese universities participated in the event, along with faculty members from Egyptian universities.
The summit focuses on means of applying Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in Egypt, Egyptian-Japanese University president, Ahmed el-Gohari said.
He added that the gathering would also discuss means of making the required links between scientific research and industry.
