Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli invited on Wednesday Spain’s private sector to explore major investment opportunities available in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCEZone) and New Administrative Capital and other fourth generation cities.
Addressing the the inauguration of the Egyptian-Spanish Forum in the presence of his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez and his accompanying delegation, the prime minister said Sánchez’s visit to Egypt represents a good chance to deepen joint cooperation in the economic, investment and development fields, hailing coordination and political relations between the two countries.
Madbouli pointed out to steps Egypt took to remove obstacles hindering economic growth and investments including enacting legislation necessary to lure foreign investors into Egypt as well as measures to combat corruption and bureaucracy.
The prime minister hailed strenuous efforts exerted by the two countries including reaching a final settlement to the case of (Unión Fenosa) company in 2020.
