CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has stressed the importance of exerting maximum efforts to provide lands for establishing a water desalination station at 2 million cubic metres a day capacity ahead of offering the project to the private sector without any obstacles.
Madbouli’s statements came during a meeting with Nasser Fawzy, head of the National Centre For Planning State Land Use and Assem Shoukr, deputy CEO of the Holding Company for Water and Water Waste.
The project is part of a strategy to increase water desalination stations in Egypt’s coastal areas till 2050.
