LUXOR, Upper Egypt– Luxor supports all activities meant to increase the flow of Italian tourists to the Upper Egyptian city, said Governor Moustafa el-Alham Monday.
Alham, in a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Egypt Michele Quaroni, said he is keen on boosting cooperation relations and friendship between the two countries.
The meeting comes as Italy’s famous fashion house Stefano Ricci celebrates its 50th anniversary in Luxor.
Choosing Luxor to host the ceremony sends a clear message about its position among cultural tourism capitals worldwide.
Quaroni said he is happy to visit Luxor, stressing the importance of boosting bilateral ties and activating tourism.
