MECCA, Saudi Arabia – Egyptian lottery pilgrims have been ferried in preparation for ascending Mount Arafat.
Officials of the Egyptian mission facilitated the transport of 6,425 Egyptians by air-conditioned buses equipped with GPS systems to ensure the safety of the pilgrims, said MENA correspondent on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Assistant Interior Minister Alaa Al-Ahmady, head of the Egyptian mission, announced that tents of the Egyptian pilgrims on Mount Arafat have been erected.
He asserted the keenness of the mission on providing all means of comfort for all pilgrims.
