Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nabil met Executive Director of the Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development Agency Bahaa El-Ghannam to strengthen integration among state institutions and maximise the utilisation of public assets.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.

The discussions focused on expanding co-operation to maximise the utilisation of the ministry’s assets and facilities, improve their operational efficiency, and increase economic returns.

Both sides explored mechanisms for implementing investment and development projects at youth centres and youth development centres nationwide to support sustainable development and optimise public asset management.

The meeting also reviewed joint community and development initiatives, including expanding seasonal and permanent exhibitions at youth centres to provide goods and products to citizens.

The two sides further discussed organising programmes and field visits introducing young people to national projects and the state’s development achievements, with the aim of strengthening national awareness, encouraging youth participation in development, and reinforcing institutional integration in implementing initiatives with economic and social impact in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

Minister Nabil affirmed that the ministry is transforming youth centres into integrated community service hubs capable of generating sustainable economic returns while preserving their sporting and social role.

He added that co-operation with the Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development Agency reflects the state’s approach to integrating institutions, creating new opportunities for development and service initiatives, supporting the national economy, expanding services for citizens, and enhancing youth participation in nation-building.

For his part, El-Ghannam stressed that the agency continues to implement the state’s vision of maximising the value of public assets and resources through effective institutional partnerships that improve resource management and generate the highest possible economic and developmental returns.

He added that co-operation with the ministry represents a model of institutional integration that will expand community and development initiatives, improve services and activities at youth centres, enhance quality of life, and support Egypt’s comprehensive sustainable development goals.
