Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Sunday issued a decree that Thursday, May 4, will be a fully paid day off for governmental and private sector workers on the occasion of Labor Day anniversary.

The decision also applies to all municipal and public business sector employees.

As per the decree, the government decided to make Thursday a day off instead of Monday, May 1.
