Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued on Wednesday a decree that Thursday October 5, 2023 will be a paid official holiday at ministries, government departments, local administration offices and public sector companies, on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day.
The paid holiday comes instead of Friday, October 6, as the government decided to move official holidays in the middle of the week to the Thursdays of the same week.
