‘New law on management of work relations in UAE comes into force’

Egyptian Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan received a report from the ministry’s Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian embassy in Abu Dhabi stipulating that the law on the management of work relations is to come into force as of Wednesday.

 

The law includes the efficiency of the work market and attracting the best labor skills in addition to providing an encouraging work environment.

Spokesman for the Manpower Ministry Haitham Saadeldin said in a statement on Wednesday that the report comes within the framework of following up the conditions of Egyptian labor in other countries and presenting support and assistance to them.

 

Meanwhile, Head of the Labor Representation Office in Abu Dhabi Hanan Shahin said the new law will support the efforts exerted to achieve the targets of the development with an effective participation from both sides of work.

 

The law also aims at boosting the flexibility and sustainability of the work market in the state via guaranteeing protection for the work relations and the exceptional circumstances it might face, she said.

 

The law created a developed system of mechanism to facilitate business, competitiveness and productivity of the work market, she added.

 

It also aims at achieving stability and welfare of the employees of the private sector and supporting their abilities and skills to improve the efficiency and productivity of employees at the workplace in the state, in addition to boosting the competitiveness of the UAE cadres in the work market and empowering women in the market.
