South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda and the visiting Serbian Foreign Minister, Nikola Selaković, have discussed means of promoting tourism flows between Egypt and Serbia.
Selaković is leading a high profile delegation from the Serbian Foreign Ministry on a visit to Egypt.
Attending the meeting, held on Sunday evening, were former minister of investment Osama Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Cairo, and a large number of senior Egyptian businessmen and investors.
The meeting reiterated the distinguished relations between Egypt and Serbia and the prospects for co-operation in all fields, with tourism on top.
Participants addressed means to activate tourism between the two countries, in particular the tourist cities in South Sinai, as well as benefiting from the Serbian expertise in the field of curative tourism.
Governor Fouda encouraged the Serbians to visit Sharm el-Sheikh, referring to the successful visit he recently paid to Serbia and the conclusion of a number of protocols, the most important of which is a twinning agreement between the cities of Niš and Sharm el-Sheikh.
