A cooperation agreement between Ahl Masr Development Foundation and El Masreya Group has signed to provide financial support for the treatment of burn patients and cover the operational costs of a specialized burns hospital throughout 2025.

The agreement was signed by the Founder and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the hospital, and the Chairman of the supporting company, as part of the hospital’s commitment to intensify its efforts to provide comprehensive and free medical care for burn patients through cooperation with all community institutions. This cooperation also reflects the private sector’s commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and contributing to improving the quality of healthcare in Egypt.

On this occasion, the Founder and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the hospital stated: “The cooperation with the supporting company is an important step in enhancing the hospital’s efforts and ensuring the sustainability of its services to patients. It also reflects the effective role of the private sector in supporting community issues, particularly in raising public awareness about the dangers of burns and ways to prevent them, as well as highlighting the importance of donations in improving patients’ lives.” She added: “We extend our thanks to the supporting company for their continuous support, and we look forward to further cooperation with this company and other institutions to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of the free services provided by the burns hospital.”

For his part, the Chairman of the supporting company emphasized the vital role played by the burns hospital in providing free medical care to patients. He added: “We are committed to providing continuous financial support to ensure effective care for the injured, in order to enhance the hospital’s ability to achieve its vision of ‘Humanity Without Burns,’ noting that this cooperation contributes to raising the level of healthcare in Egypt and enhances the hospital’s efforts in serving the community.

It is worth noting that the burns hospital has been able to treat more than 8,000 burn patients since its opening in March 2024, including 6,500 children. The hospital also received a large number of patients in the emergency department, reaching 2,516 patients, in addition to 244 others in the adult and pediatric intensive care units. The hospital also performed more than 4,000 surgeries, including 2,200 surgeries for children.

The burns hospital seeks to raise community awareness about the prevention of burn accidents by using all available resources. The medical team includes specialized doctors in all fields related to burn treatment, which contributes to providing comprehensive care that includes physical and psychological treatment for patients. The hospital also focuses on reintegrating patients into society through specialized psychological care programs.”
