Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
Sisi’s visit to Kuwait comes within the framework of the special relations binding Egypt and Kuwait and their mutual cooperation on the various fronts.
The Egyptian president is scheduled to meet with Kuwait Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for talks on joint co-operation and means of further bolstering them especially regarding the security and economic sides with the objective of achieving the two countries’ common interests.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti summit is expected to tackle various issues of mutual concern, regional and international crises as well as efforts exerted to preserve Arab national security.
