The Ministry of Justice has announced the launch of a remote electronic fee payment service for civil lawsuits across several primary courts and their sub-courts, as part of the State’s digital transformation strategy for the judicial system and efforts to facilitate procedures for citizens and lawyers.

In a statement, the ministry said the new service aims to enhance the efficiency of the justice system and provide advanced digital solutions that help expedite litigation procedures and achieve prompt justice.

It added that the service is designed to simplify litigation procedures and reduce overcrowding inside courts by enabling the electronic payment of fees without the need for in-person attendance, in line with the State’s broader drive toward digital transformation and improved quality of public services.

The service is currently available in the primary courts and their sub-courts in North Cairo, South Cairo, North Assiut, South Assiut, North Mansoura, South Damanhour, and Kafr El-Sheikh (excluding the Biella sub-court and its jurisdiction).

The ministry said the service will be expanded gradually to include other courts nationwide in the coming period.

The ministry called on citizens and lawyers to benefit from the service via the designated online payment portal: https://paymentportal.efinance.com.eg/01929002-4718-72b7-bc13-6b951d0331e4
