Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament Ahmed al Safadi lauded the deeply-rooted ties between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II.
In statements to MENA correspondent in Amman on Tuesday, Safadi said that he is looking forward to enhance coordination and co-operation with the Egyptian parliament in the coming stage to draw up parliamentary legislation to promote co-operation and integration between the two countries.
He also underlined that the tripartite co-operation among Egypt, Jordan and Iraq is an impressive example of Arab-Arab co-operation.
The Egyptian-Jordanian ties are deeply-rooted and well-established, he said, adding that there are close relations binding King Abdullah II and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
“We are concerned in the parliaments of both countries to maintain coordination and consultation on the various key issues of our nation, particularly the Palestinian cause,” he added.
