CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday received a phone call from Jordanian King Abdullah, who expressed Jordan’s solidarity with Egypt in face of terrorism, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
King Abdullah condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in western Sinai, which killed and injured a number of Egyptian armed forces personnel.
He offered condolences to the Egyptian people and the martyrs’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the generous gesture, which reflects the strength and durability of historical relations between the two countries, wishing the Jordanian government and people all stability and peace.
