CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam has probed with the ministry officials ongoing preparations for the sixth edition of Cairo Water Week (CWW), set to be held from October 29 to November 2.
To be organised under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the event will be held under the theme “Action on Water Adaptation for Sustainability”.
During the meeting, the irrigation minister reviewed the status of requests submitted by many countries as well as regional and international organizations to organize sessions and workshops as part of the CWW activities.
Sewilam also reviewed the initial list of keynote speakers and session coordinators, which includes a large number of the best experts and specialists in the fields of water and sustainable development from different countries of the world.
