CAIRO – Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) Mohamed Zalat convened with members of the Industrial Organisation New Cairo under Mohamed Owida to review industrial investments means in the area.
The meeting falls within the framework of a series of meetings being held by the IDA chairman with investment associations and businessmen in all industrial cities in accordance with directives of Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea to stand on requests of investors in the industrial sectors and remove impediments hampering industrial development.
Zalat said the meeting tackled the requests of industrial investors in New Cairo and Qatamiya and the investment challenges besetting them.
The meeting also reviewed the package of new facilitation measures which were endorsed by the authority to establish new productive projects or expand the already established factories.
Zalat stressed that the authority is ready to open permanent communication channels with the organisation to solve periodical problems and exchange data to meet the actual needs of the factories in the area.
He added that the authority started mechanising all services and measures.
Meanwhile, Owida lauded responding to the requests of industrialists.
