CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday held a meeting with Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar to be briefed on the outcome of the Egyptian ministerial delegation’s visit to Tanzania for inaugurating the Julius Nyerere Hydroelectric Power Project (JNHPP).
This was announced by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The housing and foreign ministers were part of the Egyptian delegation that attended the inauguration of this huge project in Tanzania.
JNHPP was constructed through a joint venture of two Egyptian companies – the Arab Contractors Company and El Sewedy Electric – to double Tanzania’s current energy production capacity, control floods and improve agriculture.
