Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has said that Egypt is among the first countries to provide a clear roadmap for nutrition.
A strategic national plan for food and nutrition has always been a genuine part of Egypt’s 2030 vision, Abdel Ghaffar said during a meeting with the National Committee for Food and Nutrition Systems on Sunday.
The meeting took up challenges related with the security and safety of the food systems, said spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Gaffar.
Participants put forward applicable solutions and recommendations to be referred to the Cabinet for ratification, Abdel Ghaffar added.
