Egyptian Health Minister Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has ordered bodies concerned to outline an integrated plan to establish specialised centres in all governorates.
Abdel Ghaffar, in a meeting with senior officials at his Ministry via video conference on Tuesday, said the plan is meant to guarantee high-quality and efficient medical services are quickly offered to patients.
This is done as part of an in-house strategy to upgrade public health, he noted.
The minister also reviewed a detailed report on performance during the first quarter of 2023, said Health Ministry spokesman Dr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
