Egypt’s Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had a meeting with the new representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Egypt Neama Saeed Abid, in the New Administrative Capital.
The minister on Thursday congratulated Abid on assuming the new post and extended thanks to the WHO former representative in Egypt Naeema Al-Gasseer for her great efforts and fruitful cooperation with the Health Ministry during her tenure, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said.
Abdel Ghaffar and Abid reviewed the most important issues of mutual cooperation files.
For his part, Abid thanked the minister for his ongoing cooperation with the WHO, lauding the successful launch of presidential health initiatives by Egypt.
