Egypt’s Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has directed to expedite accomplishing the construction works of a new hospital in El Obour city.
The minister’s directives came on Saturday when he, accompanied by Qalubia Governor Abdel Hameed El Hagan, inspected the implementation progress of the new hospital as part of his tour to follow up a number of national projects of health domain.
Abdel Ghaffar also directed to equip the hospital with the modern devices to provide citizens with excellent services and finish the works on schedule.
The minister was briefed on the detailed description of the hospital, which is built over an area of 16,700 square meters with the capacity of 254 beds, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said.
70% of the construction works have been accomplished, the spokesman added.
