Egypt’s Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has announced the launch of phase two of a presidential initiative for the early detection of cancer.
Screening will be conducted for free in nine governorates: Cairo, Menufiya, the Red Sea, Kafr el Sheikh, Sohag, Ismailia, Beni Sweif, North Sinai and Luxor, said spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
The initiative targets citizens aged 18 years old and up, the spokesman added.
The Health Ministry is keen on providing all the information needed by citizens and answering all their inquiries about the initiative on its hotline 15335 or its website www.100millionseha.eg.
