CAIRO – The Temple of Hatshepsut in the Upper Egypt governorate of Luxor hosted the Queen Hatshepsut exhibition within the framework of the third edition of the World Women’s Art Forum, being held from March 5 to 12.
The event is held under the patronage of the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry and organized by Ostraca Arts company.
The event is attended by about 30 female plastic artists from 17 world countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, France and Germany.
The forum is held within the framework of celebrating the International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 of each year.
The activities of the forum included the organisation of an art workshop and a photo exhibition on the Nile Corniche in front of the Luxor Temple.
