Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias sent a letter of warm condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Soukri regarding the fire incident at the Abu Sefein church in Giza.
In his letter, Greek Foreign Minister Dendias expressed his great distress and sorrow for the tragic loss of human lives, stressing that “our thoughts and prayers go to the bereaved families of the victims”, as well as his wishes to the injured for a speedy recovery.
He also reassured Foreign Minister Shoukri that Greece stands in solidarity with Egypt to provide any relevant assistance, should it be required.
