Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired the government’s weekly meeting today at the New Administrative Capital, extending congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people ahead of Eid al-Adha.
He stressed the importance of securing essential consumer goods in all markets, with large supplies of live and frozen meat, and directed state agencies to intensify inspections to prevent monopolistic practices and ensure fair pricing.
Madbouly highlighted President El-Sisi’s participation in the Africa–France Summit in Nairobi, where the President called for reforming the global financial system to address climate and development financing challenges. He also noted El-Sisi’s meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, IMF Managing Director, and African leaders, as well as visits to the UAE and Oman that reinforced Egypt’s regional solidarity and bilateral cooperation.
Domestically, the Prime Minister reviewed his own activities, including inaugurations and inspections of factories in Sadat City and 6th of October, underscoring the government’s commitment to empowering the industrial sector as a driver of economic growth and investment.
