Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom chaired a wide meeting to discuss preparations for the third edition of the International Entrepreneurship Festival in Egypt. The event will take place in Cairo from November 6 to 8, 2026, with more than 10,000 participants from 70 countries, over 100 exhibitors, and 60 international speakers.
Minister Rostom emphasized that hosting the festival reflects Egypt’s position as one of the most attractive regional markets for startups and venture capital investment. He noted that the event builds on government efforts to strengthen the innovation ecosystem under the umbrella of the ministerial group for entrepreneurship.
Minister Rostom added that the festival has become a global platform bringing together governments and investors to build more competitive and sustainable economies. He underlined that success today is measured not only by traditional indicators but also by the ability to produce knowledge and turn innovation into added value, a priority for Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
This major international gathering aims to position Cairo as a gateway for cross-border partnerships, strengthen Africa’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, and attract venture capital investment.
