The Egyptian media centre of the cabinet denied rumors on the government’s willingness to shrink the subsidy quota in coincidence with the international economic crisis.
The Ministry of Supply said that the news is void of truth, asserting that the government has no intention to reduce the subsidy quota, a statement of the media centre said on Tuesday.
The ministry reiterated that the subsidy dues will be fully given to the people regularly without decreasing their amount, the ministry said.
The media centre urged all the media means to be precise about the news they publish.
