CAIRO – The Cabinet media center denied the government declaration of various standards for selecting teachers vying for a contest for appointing 30,000 teachers.
In a statement on Thursday, the center said it contacted the Ministry of Education which dismissed the news as baseless.
The ministry said the official announcement concerning the competition will be made during a press conference six weeks later.
The ministry called on teachers to avoid fake news.
The center called on social media users to verify the authenticity of news circulated.
