Preparations for the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 (EIAS26) are gathering pace, with growing international participation from leading aerospace, defence, aviation, and space industry players ahead of the event.

Organisers announced that companies and institutions from across global markets continue to confirm their involvement, further strengthening the exhibition’s role as a strategic platform connecting international aerospace communities with emerging opportunities across the Middle East and Africa.

Among the latest exhibitors to join EIAS26 are Amstone International Group, EgyptAir, Egyptian Aviation Services (EAS), L3Harris Technologies, Tornex, and TotalEnergies. They join an expanding list of major industry players that already includes Dassault Aviation, GE Aerospace, Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Lockheed Martin, Thales, Turkish Aerospace Industries, and L3Harris.

Expanding international presence

Country participation continues to grow as governments, companies, and organisations seek to deepen engagement with aerospace and defence stakeholders across the region.

Confirmed national participation currently includes Egypt, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Italy, Jordan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

The broad international representation reflects increasing interest in the Middle East and Africa, two regions experiencing sustained investment in aviation infrastructure, defence modernisation, and emerging aerospace capabilities.

Strong industry and defence engagement

Military institutions, government agencies, and defence stakeholders are also expected to play a prominent role at the event, contributing to a comprehensive gathering of aerospace decision-makers and industry leaders.

Leading companies and organisations are supporting EIAS26 through strategic sponsorship partnerships, underlining growing confidence in the exhibition as a platform for business development, technological cooperation, and regional collaboration.

Exhibition space nearing full capacity

Organisers revealed that approximately 90 per cent of exhibition space has already been allocated, with more than 250 exhibitors expected to participate.

The event is also expected to feature over 50 flying displays, providing visitors with the opportunity to engage with aircraft manufacturers, defence organisations, airlines, suppliers, and service providers from across international markets.

Gateway to a fast-growing aerospace region

At the heart of EIAS26 is the growing importance of the Middle East and Africa as dynamic centres for aerospace development and defence investment.

Against the backdrop of accelerating modernisation programmes and expanding industrial capabilities, the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 aims to bring together key stakeholders, manufacturers, and decision-makers seeking to capitalise on new opportunities and strengthen international partnerships.

With participation continuing to expand and exhibition capacity approaching full occupancy, EIAS26 is emerging as one of the region’s most significant aerospace and defence events, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a hub for international aviation and defence cooperation.
