Egypt’s Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Soha Gendi said the state was keen on establishing a base for Egyptian expats to support its vision, defend its positions and issues and convey a real image at home and abroad, according to a statement by the ministry.
The minister’s remarks came at a meeting with some members of the Egyptian community in Spain and Portugal as part of an initiative, called “An hour with the minister” via videoconferencing Wednesday.
Gendi pointed out to the ministry’s strategy for promoting channels of communication with all Egyptians living abroad to solve any problems or challenges.
