Egyptian Foreign Minister DBadr Abdel-Aati held telephone conversations on Monday with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The discussions focused on regional developments and efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East.
The talks included an exchange of views on the ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, with emphasis on the importance of continued coordination to ensure the success of the diplomatic track. Abdel-Aati stressed that advancing negotiations is a cornerstone for achieving tangible understandings that would secure a ceasefire, reduce escalation, and end the war.
All sides agreed that diplomatic solutions and prioritizing dialogue remain the only viable path to resolving conflicts and safeguarding the region from further instability.
