Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati departed Cairo for Amman to take part in the ministerial meeting on Jerusalem scheduled for Wednesday, August 5. The gathering comes within the framework of ongoing Arab coordination and consultation on developments in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories, and efforts to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people while preserving the city’s legal and historical status.
During the visit, Abdel-Aati is set to hold bilateral meetings with fellow foreign ministers attending the conference to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations, exchanging views on key regional and international issues, and intensifying Arab coordination in the face of current challenges to bolster regional security and stability.
