CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty asserted the importance of rallying efforts to secure navigation in the Red Sea and create safe environment to pass commercial ships in light of tensions in the region.
This came during Abdelatty’s meeting on Wednesday with EU Operation Commander of the European Union’s naval mission in the Red Sea Vasileios Gryparis, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid tweeted on X.
