The US credit ratings giant Fitch Solutions hailed the Egyptian government’s efforts to promote the role of the private sector, said the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) in its latest report.
In a statement, the IDSC said that Fitch Solutions expected Egypt’s construction sector to grow by 11 per cent on an annual basis in 2022.
Fitch Solutions also upgraded its projections for Egypt’s real GDP growth to 9 per cent during 2023, added the IDSC.
The government has undertaken business reforms and continues to expand its divestiture plans, the IDSC said, quoting Fitch Solutions.
