ALEXANDRIA, Egypt – A fire broke out in Alexandria’s Muharram Beik district branch of Carrefour chain of hypermarkets, but no casualties were reported.
Fire fighters were sent to the fire scene.
Initial investigations indicate that the fire erupted as a result of a generator explosion and the flames extended to the central air conditioning.
The public prosecution was notified to launch a probe into the fire.
