Egypt’s Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, praised the skill and professionalism of the Public Treasury and Mint Authority staff during his first visit to the authority and its museum on Friday.
While viewing the museum’s historical collections, Kouchouk commended the workforce for their role in documenting Egypt’s heritage and maintaining the nation’s industrial reputation.
He expressed appreciation for Egyptian workers who contribute to the country’s development and help shape its future.
Kouchouk said the ministry is working to further develop the authority through local and international partnerships with the private sector, citing ongoing effortsto produce innovative commemorative coins.
He stressed the importance of presenting Egypt’s rich history and national symbols in creative ways that appeal to younger generations.
The minister also said the authority is working on a comprehensive plan to improve operational efficiency and ensure the sustainable supply of small change in suitable quantities, while continuing its role in preserving Egypt’s historical memory and strengthening national awareness.
