European leaders described Egyptian-European summit as historic – Presidency spox

Egypt’s Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said European leaders described the Egyptian-European summit as historic.

Concerning President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s talks with the European leaders, Fahmy said they discussed a number of issues including fostering cooperation.

In statements to TEN TV Station, he pointed out at the Egyptian-Greek-Cypriot trilateral cooperation as well as Egyptian-Greek cooperation in the field of energy and electricity grid, shedding light on the intend to establish immense partnership between Egypt and Italy in the fields of agriculture, food production and transfer of developed technology.

The issues concerning illegal immigration were also discussed during the Egyptian-European summit, Fahmi further said.
