Egyptoan Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi has underscored the importance of scientific research, urging all parties, including Egyptian scientists abroad, to back financing of the scientific research domain in Egypt.
The minister made her remarks on Thursday at a meeting with a number of Egyptian scientists in the United States and Canada, who participated at the 49th edition of the Annual International Conference for the Association of Egyptian-American Scholars (AEAS) held in Ain Shams University on December 27-29 under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
Gendi lauded great achievements made by Egyptian expat scientists all over the world, stressing that she is keen to benefit from the scientists’ visions for propelling development in Egypt.
